OK class, so we didn't get everything done last year. I have great news for you. Today is a new day and
everyone begins with an A. Be blessed, have a wonderful new year and love your fellow man. 2008 is going to
be great.

IMPORTANT!
I am writing to inform you that I will not be performing at the B.B. King House of Blues, not that it wouldn't be an honor to
perform there. I never agreed to appear in the show. The advertisements are incorrect. I don't want you all to be misled when
purchasing your tickets for the show. In the future, if you come across any advertised engagements involving me, please refer to
the website for confirmation. Thanks.
Talk to you later,
Freddie

I'm off & running. This is our year. There are two basic ways to grow and learn to live on this earth. One of the ways that
God uses is when he puts us in a pressure cooker. It's what some people call going through the fire. Last year I was in the
pressure cooker. What did I learn? It's very uncomfortable in there, but because of the fire, I am wiser.
Here is my New Year's resolution:
1. To answer my mail
2. To make better choices in how I use my time.
3. Clean up my music room.
4. Stop eating so much junk food. How can something that tastes so good be so bad?
5. Finish my CD. I won't be discouraged if you don't like it, well maybe a little.
Talk to ya soon.

What an interesting time I had at the Grammy's! I met some wonderful
people - people whose personalities receive an A+ in my book. I
appreciate all of the feedback I have received from those of you who
viewed the show. I would like to take this opportunity to clear up
some things. Sly's exit was no surprise to the Family Stone, nor was
it to some of you. Larry Graham did not feel well after the last dress
rehearsal and decided not to play. In his place, was Rusty Allen. Our
positioning on stage was fine until someone decided to change things,
which brought everyone else out on stage about two minutes too early.
But, that's okay. I don't run anything, and whoever "they" are don't
run anything either. God is in control of it all.
"A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great."
(Prov. 8:16)
By the way, isn't that a great picture of my brother Sly?
One of my grandsons saw the picture and said, "Cool! A SUPER HERO!"

I didn't pen this, but I thought it was nice:
"A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour."
and...
"Have an awesome day and know that someone who thinks you're great has thought about you today" from NOWYMAX.
I Love the People on this Planet.

I saw this in a little book while thinking on the deep things of life. It blessed me,
perhaps it'll do the same for you. The subject is patience:
"Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits." Thomas A. Edison.

Hey guys and dolls, thank you for your wonderful comments. The things that you
have said in my guestbook has touched me greatly. I am inspired, motivated, elated, ah shucks,
I really feel like playing music now. Lets Go Higher! Don't forget to love your neighbor as yourself.

There are four things on earth that are small but unusually wise:
Ants - they are strong, but they store up food for the winter. Rock badgers - they aren't
powerful, but they make their homes among the rocky cliffs. Locusts - they have no king,
but they march like an army in ranks. Lizards - they are easy to catch, but they are
found even in kings' palaces.
Proverbs 30:24-28. Every grain of sand has a purpose, and so do you my friend. My
brother wrote a song which speaks of an eternal truth. EVERYBODY IS A STAR, be encouraged.
"You don't have to build a tower and fun is not for every hour. " That's a quote from my
new CD that is almost completed, I love you all and God bless.
